What's more spooky than a bunch of beginners all learning to surf at the same time? A bunch of begginers all learning to surf in spooky halloween costumes!
Anyway, we can't wait to meet all of you at the beginner trip! If you want to know what susurf is about and want to learn to surf, this trip is for you!
We will be heading down to Newquay on october the 31st of October leaving from campus at 6pm (Yes this is halloween but do not dispair, you will have fiendish halloween fun on the trip) and returning to campus late on Sunday.
We will be staying at Blue rooms hostel (a susurf favourite) which is a lovely hostel close to some great beginner beaches and a short walk away from some of the best surf in the UK (Fistral). Bedding is provided and free breakfast are provided and there are acess to microwaves and a fridge if you want to bring your own food! Otherwise, there are lots of places to eat or shops to buy food nearby!
The cost of the trip is £75 and includes 2 nights of accommodation, transport, access to club equipment (wetsuits suits and boards), breakfast both mornings and of course learning to surf!
Please make sure you have SUSURF membership if you sign up for this trip (it's important for insurance purposes), you won't be able to come on the trip without it and there's an early bird discount if you get it quickly! It also means you can borrow club kit whenever you want in the future!
We will be going on a night out in Newquay so bring your best halloween costumes! If you have a spot we will add you to a whatsapp group and more details will follow!
