We're heading to Newquay with Portsmouth for a weekend of friendly(ish) competition and good vibes.
The competition is gonna be a straight rip-off of RedBull's foam wreckers competition - foamies only, minimal rules, maximum fun. The 'wheel of shred' will be spun to decide the board (or something wackier!) that you will get to ride and the best bit - everyone can get involved even if you're a complete beginner! Maximum points won't necessarily go to the 'best' surfer ;)
This trip is open to everyone, even if you don't want to compete! We will be providing wetsuits and boards as usual, as well as some lessons for those who want them. The water will be a lil' chilly so we recommend looking into boots and gloves if you are able to. Going without has never stopped the hardy British surfer before though!
Plan will be to leave redbrick (outside stags) at 6pm on the Friday, returning around 23:00 on the Sunday.
Places will be confirmed by being added to a FB group (keep an eye on friend requests from Theo). If we can’t find you we will send a email so keep an eye out for emails after signing up.
