Mellow, open beachbreak peaks working through the tide. Popular with longboarders and beginners. Lined-up high tide right off the rocks and shapely low tide peaks in the small bay of Combesgate to the north. Town has lots of Cafe's and surf shops to explore when you're too tired to surf!
Beginners and above, great for longboarding!
3 hour 20 minute drive from Southampton, quite difficult on public transport!
Big car park just above the beach, or a few spots for street parking in town.
